We are located on the 1st floor at 1 Subhash Lane. It’s right in the middle of the vegetable market, so it is always crowded and smells like fresh produce. Our office is directly opposite the Vishwa Vihar Hotel. You have to walk through the market and then go up the stairs to find us. Ajmer Trailor Transport Service deals with big vehicles, which is funny because the lane downstairs is so narrow. We spend a lot of time coordinating where the trailers are and when they will arrive. The office is simple—just some tables, chairs, and a lot of paperwork scattered around. Because of the market, there is always noise from the vendors and the shoppers downstairs. It’s a lively place to work. Sometimes it’s hard to get through the crowd to get to the stairs, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here for years, so we know the vegetable sellers and the people at the hotel across the way. We don’t use any fancy marketing talk. We just tell people where the trucks are and when the delivery will happen. It’s a lot of work and sometimes the phones don't stop ringing. But at the end of the day, we close up the office and head down through the thinning market. It’s been our home for a long time and we like the busy atmosphere.
