Airway Express

Our place is at Godrej Baug in Malabar Hill, specifically at T 3 in the Lohar Chawl section. We are right next to Shimla House, which most people in the area know. Airway Express is a pretty straightforward operation. We deal with a lot of deliveries and express services. Malabar Hill is a nice part of the city, though it can be a bit quiet compared to the markets. Being tucked away in this spot means we have a bit of a routine. Every morning starts with sorting out what needs to go where. The office is filled with parcels and envelopes waiting to be sent out. It’s not a very big space, so we have to stay pretty organized or we’d run out of room to walk. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it, and we’ve been here long enough that the walls feel very familiar. We don't have a big team or any corporate slogans. It’s just us doing the work that needs to be done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking tracking numbers. Sometimes things get delayed and we have to figure out why, which can be a bit of a headache. But usually, things move along okay. We take our lunch breaks together and sometimes chat with the neighbors from Shimla House. It’s a decent way to spend the day, just making sure everything gets to its destination. It can be quite a lot of physical work moving those boxes around.
