Agra Engineering Co. is tucked away on A K Marg in Mahavir Nagar, specifically at C-5. It’s more of a workshop than a fancy office. We have a lot of metal parts, tools, and heavy machinery lying around. It smells like oil and metal most of the time, which is fine by us. We mostly handle small engineering jobs and part repairs for people in the area. The floor is usually a bit dusty, and there are always some metal shavings near the lathe. I’ve been working here for a long time, and I know where every single wrench is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. Mahavir Nagar is a lively neighborhood, and we have neighbors who have been here for decades. We don't have a big storefront; it's more about the work we do inside. Sometimes a job takes longer than expected because a part is stuck or a machine acts up, but we stay until it’s finished. We don't use any high-tech systems for tracking things, just a simple notebook where we write down what needs to be done. It’s physical work and your hands get dirty, but there’s a certain satisfaction in fixing something that was broken. We just take it one day at a time here. It is a noisy place, but it is home for us during the day while we deal with the iron and steel.
