Agile Engineering

Being over here at C-26 in Nehru Nagar means we are pretty close to the Juhu Tara Road and the beach but we do not see much of the water from inside the shop. It is mostly just metal and the sound of the machines running all day long. It gets noisy. The building is an older one and the space is a bit tight once you get all the equipment and materials in there. We do engineering work which basically means a lot of cutting, measuring, and fixing things that people bring to us. Sometimes the heat in Juhu gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We keep some fans going but it only does so much when you are working with heavy machinery. People usually find us by word of mouth because we have been in this part of Juhu for a good while now. The neighborhood has changed a lot but our little corner remains pretty much the same as it was years ago. There is always a pile of scrap metal near the back door that needs to be hauled away eventually. We do not have any fancy office staff so if the phone rings one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. It is a simple setup and we just try to keep up with the jobs as they come through the door every day.
