We are set up at Adarsh Sand Suppliers right in the Mahim Agarwal Market, which is just across from the Mahim Bus Depot. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the buses constantly coming and going. We spend most of our time dealing with sand, which means there is always a bit of grit on the floor and a lot of heavy lifting to do. It’s a simple business, really. People need sand for building or repairs, and we have it here ready for them. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales team, just a few of us here at the market every day. Sometimes the dust from the yard gets everywhere, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been across from the depot for a long time, and we've seen the market change quite a bit over the years. We just keep doing what we do, loading up trucks and talking to the drivers. It’s loud and it’s dusty, but it’s our daily routine. We don’t try to make it sound more important than it is. We just sell sand and try to make sure we give people what they asked for without making a big fuss about it. It’s straightforward work for people who need materials. When the monsoon hits, things get a bit messy around the market, but we stay open and keep the piles covered as best we can.
