Working out of the Crescenzo building in Bandra Kurla Complex is a bit different from being out on a construction site. We are up on the 10th floor in the B Wing, right behind the MCA. It’s a big building, and sometimes the elevators take forever, but the view of the traffic below is something else. Even though we are in a modern office, we spend our days talking about very basic things like crushed stone and concrete. It’s a funny mix of being in a high-rise while dealing with the raw materials that build them. Our desks are usually covered in reports and maps showing where the next load is going. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing internally. Most of us just want to make sure the concrete gets poured where it’s needed without any delays. The G Block is a busy part of Bandra, and it feels like everything is moving fast all the time. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the logistics. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the numbers add up. We aren't here to give sales pitches. We’re just here to handle the side of the business that keeps the trucks moving and the sites supplied. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold, and we have to grab a sweater, but we keep working through it.
