Our place is located in Mumbai Central, specifically on the ground floor of Karim Mitha Chawl, at number 162. We are situated within the Patel Industrial Estate area, which can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here, but once you find the estate, the chawl is right there. It’s a lively, busy area with a lot of industrial activity going on every day. We’ve set up our Montessori space here to serve the families in this part of the city. The rooms are filled with things for the children, and we try to keep it as organized as possible despite the busy surroundings. There is always the sound of the city outside, but the kids don't seem to mind it much. We have been here for a long time and the building itself has a lot of history. It isn't a modern glass building like you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. It’s an old chawl structure that has been adapted for our needs. We spend our days working with the little ones, and it gets quite energetic. Parents usually come in through the main estate gate to drop off their children in the mornings. It’s a tight-knit community here, and everyone knows everyone else. We don't have much extra space, but we make the most of what we have on the ground floor.
