Up on the first floor of Abid House, you’ll find us. We’re right at Shop No.-1, which is directly across from the Lamington Road Police Station in Grant Road East. It’s a very noisy area, as you can imagine, with all the electronics shops and the constant sirens and horns. Being on the first floor gives us a little bit of a break from the street-level chaos, but not much. Active Pixel Corp. is basically just our workspace where we deal with whatever tasks are on the schedule for the day. We’ve got a view of the street from the window, and it’s always interesting to see the crowds moving through Lamington Road. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, but people find their way up eventually. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, equipment, and us working. Grant Road is a tough place to do business because there’s so much competition, but we just stick to what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We’re just local guys running a business in a busy part of Mumbai. Most of our day is spent handling repairs or setting things up for people who stop by. We usually grab lunch from one of the stalls downstairs. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. We just keep our heads down and do the work, one day at a time. It's a lot of work climbing those stairs all day, but you get used to it.
