Accurate Surgicals

Our shop, Accurate Surgicals, is tucked into the Bata Building over at Hall Bazar. If you know Amritsar, you know Hall Bazar is basically the heart of the city’s trade. It’s always packed with people, cycles, and rickshaws jostling for space. We spend our days surrounded by boxes of medical supplies and equipment. It’s a smallish space, so we have to be pretty organized, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone just walking in. Most of our customers are locals or people coming in from the nearby clinics who need something specific right away. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that; people usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about our spot. The building itself has that old character you only find in this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going and carry on. We aren't trying to be a big chain store or anything corporate. It’s just a few of us here making sure we have the right inventory on the shelves for the doctors and patients. We deal with a lot of different items, from small bandages to larger surgical tools. It’s steady work and we like the routine. We know the other shopkeepers around Hall Bazar pretty well. It’s a real community. We just open up, do our bit, and head home when the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It is simple work.
