Our place is at 11/21 Khanpur Road, specifically in the State Bank Quarter area near the Naktala post office. It is an interesting spot in Kolkata because it has that specific local character you only find in these older neighborhoods. The address lists a Mumbai pincode sometimes by mistake, but we are definitely here in the east. The office itself is not very large, but it fits everyone comfortably. We have our files stacked up and our computers running most of the day. It is a busy little corner of the world. There is usually someone coming or going, or just the sound of the street noise filtering in through the windows. We do not have any big signs or bright lights. Most people find us because they already know the Khanpur Road area well. The building has a bit of age to it, which gives it some personality. We spend a lot of time just working through the lists and keeping our records straight. It is a practical environment where the focus is on the tasks at hand rather than how the office looks. We have our tea breaks and talk about the local news like everyone else around here. It is just a regular workplace for regular people. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. That is how we operate daily.
