Absolute Plastics

Absolute Plastics is over at 9 B on Lake Road in Bhandup West. We are inside the Md Compound, which is pretty close to the police station. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving in and out. The shop is full of plastic items of all shapes and sizes. You can hear the sound of the machines running most of the day. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the rhythm of it. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the winter months. We have a small office section partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the records. It’s mostly just me and a few workers handling the production and sales. We don’t have a fancy showroom, so customers just come into the main area to see what we have. There’s usually a bit of a plastic smell in the air, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We’ve been in this compound for years and we get along with the other business owners nearby. It’s a practical setup for making things. We don’t bother with much marketing because our regulars know exactly where to find us. We just keep making our products and trying to stay ahead of the orders. It’s a lot of manual labor and staying on our feet, but we like the work.
