Abhaa

Abhaa is run from C-802 in Jal Vayu Vihar, which is quite close to the Hiranandani Gardens in Powai. It is a nice enough area, though the traffic getting into Powai can be a total nightmare during the rush hour. We don't have a big commercial storefront; it is more of a quiet office setup where we handle all our business. Most of the work involves talking to clients on the phone and managing our orders online. It is a small operation, and we don't have dozens of employees running around. It is usually just a couple of us sitting at our desks, surrounded by boxes and samples. We don't really have a polished corporate image. To be honest, the office is usually a bit cluttered with papers and tea cups. We just try to get the work done without making a big fuss about it. We started this business because we wanted to do something on our own, and it has been a learning process ever since. Some days are better than others, and there are times when we wonder if we are doing the right thing, but we just keep going. We don't use any marketing tricks or big slogans. We just sell our products and hope they are what the people are looking for. It is a quiet, simple way to work, and we like the independence it gives us. There is something satisfying about being your own boss at the end of the day.
