We operate out of Bhupati Chambers on Mathew Road. Our office is up on the fifth floor. It’s a bit different from a factory floor, but the business is still all about cement. From up here, we handle the logistics and the paperwork that keeps everything moving. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. We aren't the ones mixing the concrete ourselves, but we make sure it gets to where it needs to go. The street outside is always crowded, which makes parking a bit of a nightmare sometimes. Inside, it’s just desks, computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know how each other thinks. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just have a job to do and we get on with it. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we take the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We deal with suppliers and transport people all day. It’s about making sure the numbers match and the orders are clear. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just keep track of the cement trade from our little corner of the city. It’s practical work. We come in, do the day’s tasks, and head home. It’s a steady rhythm that seems to work well for everyone involved here. We keep it simple and just focus on the task at hand each morning.
