Aayush International

Aayush International operates out of Wild Wood Park-Ii on Yari Road. If you’ve ever been to Versova in Andheri West, you know the vibe is a bit different from the rest of the city. We’re in B/1, and the space is mostly filled with files and old desks. It’s not one of those shiny corporate offices you see in the movies. We deal with international trade stuff, which basically means a lot of late-night emails because of the time differences. Sometimes the humidity from the sea makes everything feel a bit sticky, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to sort out customs issues or talking to agents. It’s a bit of a walk from the main station, so we usually just stay put once we get in. The building is quiet enough, though you can always hear the traffic from Yari Road in the background. We’ve been here for several years now, and the routine hasn’t changed much. We start the day by clearing the inbox and then it’s just one task after another until the sun goes down. Most of the time, we’re just trying to make sure the shipments don't get stuck somewhere. It’s a lot of small details that can go wrong if you aren’t looking. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the work as it comes in.
