Aatash Foods Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of 10/4, Rustom Baug in Byculla for quite some time now. Byculla is a lively place to be, and our little corner is no different. We spend our days dealing with food products, mostly getting things packaged and ready to go out to the shops. The kitchen area is always busy, and there is usually a good smell of whatever we are working on that day. It is not a massive factory; it feels more like a local workshop where everyone knows each other’s names. We have a small team, and we all pitch in wherever we are needed. If the packing line is backed up, I will get out there and help box things up myself. We do not have any fancy mission statements or anything like that on the walls. We just want to make sure the food is clean and looks okay before it leaves the door. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like the door that sticks in the rain, but it is home to us. We are just regular folks trying to do a decent job every day. Customers sometimes drop by to pick things up directly, and we usually have a quick chat before they head back out into the Byculla traffic. It is a simple life, but it keeps us busy enough to keep going. We do not ask for much else.
