Aat College

Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, but we have made the most of the commercial wing here. It is not your typical sprawling college campus with big fields. Instead, it is a more compact, city-style setup. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long—cars honking and people rushing about their business. The entrance to Chaman Bungalow is where our students and staff come in every morning. Inside, it looks like a regular office building that has been turned into a place for learning. There are rooms for classes and some space for the staff to sit and do their paperwork. It gets quite busy during the peak hours of the day when everyone is arriving or leaving at once. We have the usual desks, computers, and whiteboards that you would find in any college these days. The air conditioning is usually running to keep the Mumbai heat at bay. It is a practical location for people living in this part of the city. We do not have a lot of fluff or fancy stuff here; it is just a place where people come to get their education and then head back out into the busy Mumbai streets. It feels very much like a part of the local neighborhood and the daily city hustle.
