Aastec Engineers

Aastec Engineers operates out of Chembur at Bungalow No A/9 in the Raj Kunj Society. It is a bit different working from a bungalow rather than a big industrial park or a regular office building, but it works fine for what we do. Millerganj can get a bit loud during the day, but once you get inside the society gates, things quiet down quite a bit. We have our equipment and workbenches set up in the rooms, and there is usually a lot of paper and technical drawings spread out across the tables. It feels more like a house than a typical company, which I think makes the long hours a little easier for us to handle. We spend a lot of our time looking at technical details and making sure that all the parts we are working on fit together like they are supposed to. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and peek in while we are busy with something big. The air in Chembur can be a bit heavy sometimes with all the industry in the area. We have an old fridge in the corner that makes a loud humming sound, but it keeps our water cold. Usually, we are just busy with the machines or talking about how to fix a problem that popped up unexpectedly. Things break or measurements end up being off, and we just have to start again. That is just how the work goes.
