Aashu Mobile

Aashu Mobile is right here on Ram Krishnappa Road in Dahisar. It’s a small shop, honestly, and it can get a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once. We started this because everyone always has problems with their phones. Screens crack, batteries die, or things just stop working for no reason. We spend a lot of our time looking through tiny screwdrivers and trying to find parts that are hard to get. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people heading to the station. We’ve lived in Dahisar for years, so we know most of the people who walk past the door every day. We don't have those big bright displays like the malls do. It's just a counter and some shelves with cases. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit if the fan is on high, but it works fine for us. We stay open late most nights because that's when people realize their phone is broken after work. It’s just me and a cousin usually. We take breaks when it's quiet to grab some tea from the stall nearby. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If a phone can't be fixed, we just say so. No point in making things complicated for the customer. Most of the time, we are just sitting behind the glass counter waiting for the next person to come in with a cracked screen. It's a living, and we really like being in Dahisar. It’s home.
