Aashapura Roadlines

Running Aashapura Roadlines out of Narshi Natha Street is always a bit of a chaotic experience. If you know this part of the city near Hosa Road and the Old Anant Bhavan, you know how tight the lanes can get. We spend a lot of our time on the phone, tracking where the trucks are or talking to drivers who are stuck in traffic somewhere. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure the loading happens on time. We’ve been at 261 5 for a while now, and the office is usually filled with the sound of people talking and the smell of tea. Transport is a tough business because things rarely go exactly as planned. A tire goes flat or a road is closed, and then we have to figure it out on the fly. We don't have a glossy brochure. We just have our logs and our connections. It’s about getting goods from one point to another without too much trouble. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment is coming in late at night. We’ve got a lot of regulars who just know us by name and stop by to settle bills or check on their deliveries. It’s a busy life, mostly involving heavy lifting and long drives, but it’s what we know. The office might be a bit cluttered with old files, but we know where everything is when it matters. We stay focused on the road and the cargo.
