Aarti Mukherji

I am based in Khar West, right around the Thakur Village area. It is a lively part of town, and I’ve been settled here for a good while. My workspace is pretty simple. I don't have a big sign outside or a fancy lobby. Usually, I’m just sitting at my table with my laptop and a bunch of papers scattered around. It’s a very local way of doing things. I spend my mornings getting through emails and planning out what needs to happen for the rest of the week. Khar West has its own pace, and I try to stick to that. Sometimes the noise from the street can be a bit much, but it’s just part of being here. I don't believe in using a lot of professional fluff or marketing speak. If someone asks what I do, I just tell them plainly. My hours aren't always strictly nine-to-five because sometimes things just need to get finished late at night. There isn't any big mission statement hanging on my wall. I just try to be reliable and get my work done without too much fuss. I’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough to know the best spots for a quick snack when I’m working through lunch. It is a straightforward life and a straightforward business. I like being able to help people out in a way that feels honest and direct, without any of the usual corporate layers getting in the middle. I just focus on the task in front of me.
