Aarif Saloon

Aarif Saloon is tucked away in Shop No 7 on Gundavali Azad Road. If you know the Andheri East area, we are quite close to the B M C Office, which makes us easy enough to find for anyone living around here. It’s a small shop, but we’ve made the most of the space we have. Mumbai is always loud and fast, but inside the saloon, things slow down a bit. We have the usual mirrors and the chairs where people sit to get a haircut or a shave. It’s a very local place; most of our customers are guys who work in the nearby offices or live in the buildings just down the road. We don't do anything too fancy, just the basic stuff that keeps people looking neat. The shop gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going and the radio playing some music in the background. I spend most of my day standing on my feet, talking to the regulars about the cricket scores or the local news while I work. It’s a simple life and I like being part of the neighborhood. People stop by even when they don't need a haircut, just to say hello or ask how things are going. We don't have a website or any big advertisements. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for a while and people know we do an honest job every time they sit in our chairs.
