Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, so we operate out of this municipal school building. It’s a very central location, and the Andheri station isn't too far away, which helps the students who travel by local train. The area is always buzzing with people and traffic. Since we share the building, we have a specific routine to follow. It’s a junior college, so we have teenagers here for their commerce and science streams. It’s a noisy, energetic place. The classrooms are basic, the kind you’d expect in a municipal building. We don't have any fancy labs with the latest gadgets, but we have the essentials for the science students to do their practicals. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and registers. We spend a lot of time helping students figure out their futures after the 12th grade. It’s a very real, no-nonsense environment. We deal with the monsoon leaks and the summer heat just like everyone else in Mumbai. It’s a place for students who want to study without needing anything flashy. We’ve been here for years, and most people in the Gundavli area know exactly where we are located. There is always a lot of shouting and laughter in the hallways between the different lectures.
