Aakar Prints

Aakar Prints is located at B-29 in the Station Plaza in Bhandup West. Being so close to the station means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing around outside our doors. We have been working out of this Sahar area for quite a while now. The shop is usually full of the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running all day. It can get pretty warm in here when all the equipment is going at once, but that is just part of the job we do. We do all sorts of printing work, mostly for people who live or work in the immediate neighborhood. It isn’t a huge operation, just a local shop where we try to get things out on time as best as we can. Sometimes the machines act up or we run low on a specific type of paper, but we always figure it out eventually. We don't have a big front office or a reception desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is standing by the counter. Most of the time, that's one of us covered in a bit of dust or ink from the latest job. We like being in Bhandup because it feels like a real community where people know each other. People stop by just to say hello even if they don't have an order to pick up. We don't put much effort into being fancy. The floor is concrete and the shelves are stacked high with rolls and boxes. It is just a workspace.
