Hib Surgicals

We've been here in the Aai Mai Merwanjee building for a while now. It's right on Dr. E. Borjess Road, basically just across from KEM Hospital. Being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of people coming in and out all day. Hib Surgicals isn't a huge flashy place, just a ground floor setup where we keep our stock. We deal with various surgical supplies. People usually find us because they're already in the area for medical stuff. It gets busy on this street. The shop is small, but we try to keep what people need on the shelves. Sometimes things are a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We started out just wanting to be a reliable spot for the locals and the hospital patients. It’s a straightforward business. We open up in the morning, talk to customers, and handle the orders as they come in. Nothing too complicated about it. The building is an old one, typical for Parel. We like being part of this neighborhood. It has a specific energy because of all the clinics around. If you walk past KEM, you’ll likely see our sign. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything. Most of our day is spent checking inventory and making sure the deliveries are right. It’s honest work and keeps us on our feet.
