You can find us on S V Road in Andheri West, over in Mumbai 58. It’s a prime spot, but that also means the noise from the street never really stops. We’ve been here at Aabid And Company for a long while. The office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a door among many others on this busy road. Inside, it’s a bit of a different story. We have stacks of boxes and old furniture that we’ve collected over the years. It feels lived-in, like a real workshop or a home office. We spend most of our day dealing with phone calls and people walking in with questions. Andheri West is always moving, and we try to keep up as best as we can. We usually have a fan going because the Mumbai humidity is no joke. The staff here is small, and we all wear many hats. One minute someone is filing papers, and the next they’re out running an errand. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. It’s a practical environment. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick bite, which is lucky because none of us are very good at bringing lunch from home. We just take things one day at a time here and hope for the best with the traffic when it's time to go home. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy.
