You can find us at 415 Sheikh Memon Street, right in the thick of the textile market area. It’s a very busy place, and there’s always someone carrying a bale of cloth on their shoulder right outside our door. Our shop, A To Z Amiracle Textiles, is packed with different fabrics. We have rolls of cloth stacked from the floor almost to the ceiling. It can be hard to move around sometimes when we get a new shipment in. We spend our days measuring out meters of fabric and talking to customers who come in looking for specific patterns or materials. The air always smells a bit like new cotton and dye. It’s a loud street, with handcarts and people everywhere, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. We don’t have a website or a fancy catalog. Most of our business is done face-to-face right here behind the counter. We use old-fashioned ledgers sometimes because it’s just easier for us. It’s a simple operation. We buy fabric, we store it, and we sell it to people who need it. There’s no big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to keep a good variety of stock so that when someone asks for something specific, we actually have it. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and long hours, but it’s what we do for the market.
