We operate out of Vardhman Chamber on Kalyan Street. Sir P M Road is always packed with trucks and people moving things, which makes sense for a transport business. We’ve got a small office here where we handle all the paperwork for the loads. It’s a lot of coordination and phone calls to make sure everything is where it needs to be. The phone rings a lot and sometimes things get a bit loud when we are trying to track down a driver. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly maps and schedules. Transport is a tough business because things don't always go according to plan. Traffic jams, breakdowns, or weather can slow things down, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve been in this building for a while now and know the neighbors pretty well. Most days start early and end late. We are just regular people trying to move goods from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow so we take the stairs. It’s a practical kind of job and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We keep track of the trucks and try to keep our customers informed about where their stuff is. It keeps us on our toes for sure. Every day is a little bit different here and we just keep moving along.
