A S Attarwala And Sons is tucked away on the 4th Main Road, specifically at 203 on the 14th E Cross. Most people just know us for being near Abdul Rehman Street. It is a very busy part of the city, and the smells around here are always a mix of everything you can imagine. We have been handling traditional oils and scents for a long time now. It is a family thing that has been passed down through the years. The shop itself is not very large, but it is completely full of bottles of all different sizes and shapes. Some of the containers are old and some are new. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who come in looking for a specific smell they remember from their childhood. It takes a lot of patience to find the right one sometimes. The street outside is always crowded with people and carts, so it is a bit of a relief to step inside the shop. We do not do much advertising at all. People find us by word of mouth or because their fathers used to come here years ago. It is a slow kind of business and you really cannot rush it. We just sit here, fill the small bottles, and talk to the regulars who stop by. Sometimes we run out of a certain size of glass and have to wait. That is just how things go here.
