A R Engineering

We’ve been tucked away here in Vikhroli East for a good while now. The shop at 409 15 stays pretty busy most days of the week. It’s not a fancy place, mostly just machines, metal scraps on the floor, and the smell of grease. People around here know where we are because they hear the lathes running from down the street. We started out small and stayed that way mostly, which is how we like it. The morning starts with tea from the stall nearby and then we get to work on whatever parts came in the night before. Sometimes the rain gets heavy in this part of Mumbai and we have to move stuff away from the door, but we manage. Most of our tools have been with us for years. They aren't new but they do the job right. We don’t spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty for photos. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone covered in oil or busy measuring a piece of steel. It’s loud and it’s dusty but it’s what we know. We mostly deal with local folks who need something fixed or a specific part made for a bigger machine. There’s no big reception desk here, just a desk with too many papers and a calendar from three years ago still hanging on the wall. That’s just how it is at A R Engineering.
