A P S Parcel Carriers is located at Shop No 4 in Building No 411/413 near Masjid and Belgium Square. It’s a busy spot right by the Delhi Gate area, situated just below the Bank of Baroda. Being near the bank and the gate means there is always a lot of foot traffic and vehicles moving past our door. The shop is mostly filled with parcels and packages waiting to go out or just arriving. It can look a bit messy at times with all the boxes stacked up, but we know where everything is. The noise from the street is constant, especially during the middle of the day when the market area is in full swing. We spend most of our time logging items and making sure the loaders are getting things onto the trucks correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on top of the paperwork so nothing gets lost. The space isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack things to keep the walkway clear. We have a small desk where we handle the customer side of things, but most of the action happens on the floor. It is a hot and dusty place during the summer, but that is part of the job here at Masjid. We just focus on getting the parcels moving and making sure the day goes smoothly. It's hard work, but we are used to the pace of this neighborhood.
