You can find A. Kamruddin & Sons over on Bullock Road in Bandra West. Our address is 42/A, Seema Apartments. It’s right by the Bandstand area, which is always full of people and energy. We’ve been here for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of place, and you can feel that when you walk in. The office isn't anything like those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of Mumbai. It’s got a bit of character, maybe some old furniture and stacks of ledgers everywhere. We do our business the old-fashioned way, focusing on the people we work with every day. Being in Bandra means we see the sea every afternoon, which is a nice perk of the job. Most of our day is spent talking to customers or checking on orders. It’s not a complicated life, but it is definitely a busy one. We’ve seen the neighborhood change from a quiet spot to what it is now. We know the neighbors and the local shops. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just showing up and doing what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes it hard to get around, but we still open up. It’s just how things are for us. If you’re around the Bandstand, we’re just a short walk away. We like it here and we plan to stay for a while.
