A K Trade Transports

Our office is at A 2 in the Hemant Manjkar Building. It’s right near the market in Sion, which means it’s always a bit of a mess outside with all the people and the trucks. A K Trade Transports is basically just our home base for moving goods around. We have a lot of paperwork piled up on the tables. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The walls are a bit yellowed and we have a calendar from three years ago still hanging up because we liked the picture on it. Dealing with transport means there is always some kind of problem to solve, like a flat tire or a late delivery. We spend a lot of time shouting over the noise of the market to be heard on the phone. It’s a small team here, just a couple of us who have known each other for years. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in Sion for so long that people know our face. The building is old and the stairs are steep, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the drivers happy. It’s a plain, honest business and we don’t pretend it’s anything else. Each day is a bit different but the busy market outside stays the same.
