A J Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at B/3/A in the Vittal Shetty Compound, which is part of the K K Gupta Industrial Estate in Andheri East. It is a gritty, busy area where there is always something being built or fixed. We do engineering work here. This means our days are spent around lathes, milling machines, and welding sets. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and the smell of burnt metal in the air. We don't have a proper lobby or a waiting room for visitors. If you come by, you will likely find us right in the middle of a job, wearing our work clothes. We take on all kinds of mechanical tasks, from making small custom parts to fixing larger machinery that has broken down. We are just a small crew of workers who know how to handle steel and iron. The industrial estate can be a bit of a headache to navigate with all the delivery vans parked in the way. We have been in this compound for a good while and have seen many neighbors come and go. We don't have a polished business plan or a fancy mission. We just look at the drawings people bring us and try to make the parts as accurately as we can. It is hands-on, practical work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. It is just what we do.
