A Hair Haus Saloon

You can find A Hair Haus Saloon at Shop No. 4 in the Vaibhav Building. We are on Azad Road in Vile Parle East, right near the fire brigade. It is a spot people can see from the street, but the noise of the sirens can be a lot sometimes. The shop is pretty basic. We have the standard chairs, some mirrors that have seen better days, and a shelf full of different shampoos and gels that we use. We have been cutting hair here for quite a while now. Most of our customers are locals who just want a simple haircut or maybe a shave before they go to work. We do not do all those complicated styles you see on TV or in magazines. Just cuts and shaves. The floor always seems to have a bit of hair on it even though we sweep after every person. It is a losing battle in this business. The AC works most of the time, but on the really hot days in Mumbai, it struggles to keep up with the heat. We have an old radio that stays on in the background, usually playing some local station. It is a small team here, just two or three of us. We do not take appointments online or anything like that. You just come in, sit on the bench, and wait your turn. It is a regular shop for regular people who live around Vile Parle.
