A 1 Saloon has its home at Shop No 18 in the Trinity building. This is in Dhobi Talao, specifically the 2nd Dhobi Talao area of Mumbai. The pin code here is 400002. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, but that’s what makes it feel like home. The shop isn't very large, just Shop No 18, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Trinity is one of those buildings that has seen a lot of history. Living and working in Mumbai means you get used to the noise and the constant movement of people right outside the door. There’s always someone walking past or a delivery being made nearby. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in the world. We just provide a place for people to get their hair cut or whatever else they need without any fuss. The 2nd Dhobi Talao area has a specific vibe to it that you don't find in the newer parts of Mumbai. Most of our regulars have been coming to us for years, and they know exactly where Shop No 18 is. It’s a simple life here. We open early and stay until we’re done. It’s not about being the best, it’s just about being there for the neighborhood and doing the work honestly every single day. We've seen kids grow up and bring their own kids here, which is something you only see in a place like this. The walls could use some paint, but the chairs are comfortable enough.
