Steel Wares

Steel Wares is located at 12, Saket, in the New Civil Lines area. It’s a bit different from the crowded industrial zones. The street is a little wider and it feels a bit more relaxed, though we still keep busy throughout the day. We have been working out of this location for several years now. Our focus is mainly on steel products, and our space is filled with samples and stock waiting to go out. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like a leaky roof during the monsoon and doors that don't always close quite right. We don't have a team of professional marketers or a polished corporate image. It’s just us, a small group of people who show up and get the work done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the inventory in the back room. Sometimes the inventory count doesn't match and we have to spend the whole afternoon trying to figure out why. It’s a lot of practical, boring work that keeps the business running. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just try to get the orders right and keep things moving. New Civil Lines is a good place to be, and we’ve made some good friends among the neighboring shopkeepers. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here at the shop. We like the routine and the people we deal with.
