Silver Mine

People usually find us easily enough because we are right here at 97, Diwan Ka Bazar. It gets pretty loud on Chowrasi Ghata Road during the afternoons, especially when the carts are moving through the narrow space. Silver Mine has been sitting in this exact spot for a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the heat inside the bazar can get a bit much for everyone. We spend a lot of our time just organizing things and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not a fancy place, just a regular shop with walls that have seen better days. You see a lot of different people walking past the door. Some stop to ask for directions while others are just going about their daily business. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in. Diwan Ka Bazar has its own rhythm that you eventually get used to after a few months. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back on. Working here at Silver Mine feels like being part of the street itself. We handle the daily tasks as they come. It is just a small operation on Chowrasi Ghata Road. There isn't much to say other than we show up every morning and do the work that needs doing. The floor stays a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep it. That is just how it is.
