Kohinoor Crafts

Kohinoor Crafts is based at Turkey Estate on Sambhal Road. It’s a bit of a distance from the middle of the city, which makes it a bit quieter than the main markets. The Sambhal Road itself sees a lot of traffic, mostly tractors and local buses going back and forth. Our place in Turkey Estate is a workshop where we do all our daily work. It is definitely not a shiny showroom. It’s more of a practical space with materials and half-finished items stacked up in different corners. The air inside usually has a bit of dust and the smell of whatever materials we are using that week. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the address. Most of the people who come here are regulars who already know the way. The staff here has been with us for many years, so it feels more like a small group of friends than a formal company. We usually have our tea together and talk about the weather or local news. Sambhal Road has a certain rhythm to it that we’ve grown used to. We don't spend a lot of time on computers or doing fancy marketing. Most of our day is spent working with our hands at Turkey Estate. It is just honest, regular work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. If you ever stop by, you will see us in the middle of it all.
