Ritlesh International

If you look for us in Kanjari Sarai, you’ll find us in a part of town that feels like it hasn’t changed much in decades. Ritlesh International is what we call ourselves on the paperwork, but to the people around here, we are just the guys working in the sarai. Our office is a bit cluttered with samples and old files that we probably should have thrown away years ago. We do a lot of international trade work, which mostly involves being on the phone at odd hours or staring at computer screens waiting for emails from different time zones. The neighborhood is full of small traders, and there is always a lot of shouting and moving of goods in the lanes outside. We don’t have a big corporate office with carpets and air conditioning in every corner. Instead, we have a few desks, some sturdy chairs, and a cooling unit that works when it feels like it. It’s a small operation. We handle the paperwork for shipments and talk to agents all day long. Sometimes we have to go down to the customs office or meet people at the docks, so the office stays empty for a few hours. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just want to get the business done and go home to our families. It’s a lot of logistical headaches, but that is just the nature of the work we do.
