P. R. Industries

You can find us over on Jilal Street. It’s a narrow street, so if you’re driving a big car, you might have some trouble getting through. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and the neighbors all know the sound of our machines. P. R. Industries is a small operation, really. We have a few rooms where the work happens and a small corner for the paperwork. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the equipment running, so we keep the fans on full blast all day. We don’t have a website or anything like that; we just do our work and people know us. Jilal Street is a tight-knit place. We know the guy who sells the snacks at the corner and the man who fixes the bicycles. Most of the people working here have been with us for years, so we’re more like a bunch of friends than anything else. There’s no dress code, and we don’t have big meetings. We just know what needs to be done and we get to it as soon as we arrive. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside and chat until it comes back on. It’s a slow pace of life in some ways, but we stay busy enough. We just take it one day at a time here on Jilal Street.
