We’ve been set up here in the Mufti Building at Kath Darwaza for quite a while now. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets during the day. We spend most of our mornings just moving boxes around and trying to find space for everything. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some rooms filled with all kinds of gift items we handle. There’s a tea stall just down the street where we usually get our afternoon snacks. The building itself is old and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift isn't behaving. Most of us living nearby just walk to work. Kath Darwaza has its own rhythm, you know. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout to hear each other, but you get used to it after a week. We deal with a lot of different people coming in and out. Some days are just filled with packing tape noises and bubble wrap. We aren't trying to do anything huge, just keeping the business running and getting things sent out on time. My cousin helps with the inventory when things get really busy around the festival seasons. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what’s in the back room and what needs to go out to the shops. We don't have a big marketing team, it's just us doing what needs doing.
