Metal Art Gallery

We are down at H-82 Dehriya Street, right near Rahat Molai School and the Capital Cinema Road. Metal Art Gallery is our little shop where we deal with all sorts of metal pieces. It is a bit of a noisy area because of the school and the cinema nearby, but we like the energy of the street. Inside, you will find a lot of dust and the smell of metal being worked on. We have shelves filled with different items we have collected or made over time. It is not a clean, white-walled gallery like you see in magazines. It is more of a workshop where things are actually being handled. We spend a lot of time cleaning off rust or polishing up old parts to see what they could become. Some of the stuff is heavy and we have to be careful not to drop anything on our toes. The neighbors around Dehriya Street are good people, and we often chat with them while we are out front. We don’t really have a big sales pitch for anyone. If people like what they see in the window or on the shelves, they come in and ask. It is a slow kind of business, not like the fast-paced shops in the malls. We just enjoy the process of working with our hands and seeing the metal take shape.
