Akbar Travels & Communication

Our shop, Akbar Travels & Communication, is right on Maqbara Road in Moradabad. It is a convenient spot for people because we are sitting just opposite the Maqbara Police Chowki. That usually helps people find us quite easily if they are not from this neighborhood. We do travel bookings and some communication work from here. The space inside is pretty small and we have a lot of old ledgers and files stacked up on the shelves. Sometimes the internet connection gets slow and we just have to sit and wait for things to load properly. It can get quite loud with the police sirens and all the street noise right outside the door. We keep a small fan going all day during the summer months to stay cool. It is mostly just us sitting here handling phone calls and people walking in with random questions about their trips. We do not have a big staff or anything like that. Just some old computers and a printer that sometimes jams when we are in a hurry. Dealing with different people all day keeps us on our toes. Some days are very quiet and we just watch the bikes go by on Maqbara Road. Other days it gets a bit chaotic with everyone wanting their tickets at the same time. It is a very basic setup, but we have been in this spot for a while now. Most locals know where the police chowki is, so finding us isn't hard.
