Universal Chemical

Universal Chemical is located on the first floor of the Simandhar Shopping Centre, which is right above the Ubi Bank. Being in a shopping center means there are always people walking around, though most of them are going to the bank or the other shops. We deal with various chemicals, which means we have to be very careful with how things are stored and labeled. Our office is more of a hub for coordinating shipments than a place where we mix things. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on where a delivery truck is. The office is a bit cramped with all the files and samples we keep on hand. It’s not a very fancy place, but it works for what we need. Since we are on the first floor, we have to carry some things up and down the stairs, which keeps us in shape. We’ve been at Simandhar Shopping Centre for a while and have a good relationship with the other shop owners. We aren't trying to change the world; we just provide the chemicals that other businesses need for their own processes. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, especially with all the regulations we have to follow, but we stay on top of it. It’s a steady, quiet kind of business. We just open up in the morning, do our work, and head home like everyone else.
