We are just down the road from some of the other units at Plot No 137 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. Bhavya Polymers is a small operation, mostly run by a handful of us who have been doing this for years. The building is getting a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it serves its purpose for us. Inside, it’s mostly machines and bags of raw materials stacked up to the ceiling. It’s a bit cramped, honestly, but we know where everything is kept. The air always has that faint smell of heated plastic, which you stop noticing after the first hour of work. We don’t have a big sales team or anything like that. Usually, the phone just rings and one of us picks it up while doing something else on the floor. It can get chaotic when a big shipment arrives and we have to move everything around to make room. The trucks have a hard time turning in our narrow lane, so there’s always a bit of shouting and gesturing involved to get them parked. We like the location because it’s close to the main suppliers we use. At the end of the day, we just lock up the shutters and head home. It’s not the kind of place you’d see in a magazine, but it’s where we spend most of our time. We focus on the machines and making sure they don’t break down.
