Regal Steel

Regal Steel is situated right on Meerut Road at Rana Chowk. It’s a spot where there’s always a lot of activity, especially with the heavy trucks coming through from the highway. We spend most of our time out in the yard or in the small office area near the front gate. The road noise is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks of working here. We started here because it was a good location to get things moved in and out quickly. The building itself is pretty basic, just some sturdy walls and a roof to keep the rain off the stock. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it's just a few of us making sure the steel gets where it needs to go on time. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we have to sit and wait, but usually, we are busy from the moment we open the gates. Rana Chowk is a major landmark for most people around here, so we are pretty easy to find. We keep a few old chairs out front for when we take a short break. The air is often thick with the smell of the road and the metal. It’s hard work, and we all go home feeling pretty tired at the end of the shift. Regal Steel isn't a place for suits and ties. We wear work boots and clothes that we don't mind getting grease and dirt on. That’s just the reality of working on Meerut Road.
