G. Sons Ispat Pvt. Ltd. is located at 6A/1 on Meerut Road, right in the industrial area of Guldhar. If you are driving down Meerut Road, you can’t miss the industrial zone because of all the big trucks lined up. Our place is a basic setup designed for handling ispat, or steel. We have a yard where the heavy stuff sits and a covered area for the more delicate work. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, which gets muddy when it rains. We have a small office that’s basically just a room with a few chairs and a computer that’s seen better years. It gets loud here because of the traffic and the noise from the other factories nearby. Guldhar isn't the prettiest place, but it’s where the work gets done. We show up early, get the gates open, and start checking the inventory. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local shortcuts. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do; we just move steel and make sure the orders are correct. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved, and the guys are used to the physical nature of the job. We keep a big cooler of water near the entrance for everyone. It’s a straightforward business with no frills. We’ve been at 6A/1 for a long time, and we plan on staying for many more years to come.
