Rajasthan Marble

You can find Rajasthan Marble at C-4 on Sardhana Road. We’re located in the Kanker Khera area, right near the Defence Enclave. It’s a pretty solid neighborhood. We have slabs of stone sitting around everywhere. It’s heavy work, moving them and showing them to people who stop by. The dust from the marble is something you just get used to after a week of working here. Our shoes are always white from it. We don't have a big fancy sales team. It’s usually just me or one of the guys from the back who comes out to help. We don’t go in for big speeches. We just show what we have in the yard. Sometimes the pieces have cracks or marks, and we point those out so people know what they’re getting. Sardhana Road can get pretty busy with trucks, so it’s loud during the day. We’ve been at this spot for years. Most people in the Defence Enclave know us because they’ve seen us working as they drive home. We keep a small kettle for tea in the corner of the office. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a computer system that works half the time, so we stick to the old ledgers. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet. We like being part of the Kanker Khera community. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the driveway, but we manage to work around it. It's just a regular day for us and we enjoy seeing the locals.
