We set up this company, Pahadpur Farmer Samiti Producer Company Limited, because a few of us here in Paharapur village felt like we needed to organize ourselves a bit better. Our office is just at H.No 130, not far from the Gotha Rasulpur post office. It is a quiet place where we sit down and talk about the crops and what the season is looking like for all of us. Most people around here know us as neighbors first. We started this samiti to help local producers get a fair shake in the market. It is not a fancy office or anything like that. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to do things on paper. If you are looking for us, just ask for the house at number 130. We are mostly busy in the fields during the day but someone is usually around to answer questions. We do not have a big marketing team or anything polished. It is just us farmers trying to figure out the market together. The village life is simple and so is how we run things here. We deal with whatever comes up, whether it is getting seeds or selling what we grow. It takes a lot of time to build something like this from the ground up in a small place like Paharapur. We just keep going day by day. Gotha Rasulpur is the main point for our mail. We are just local people working on our land.
