Jajwan Farmer Producer Company Limited

Jajwan Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of house 301 in Jajwan village. Rajesh Kumar, Daleep Singh’s son, handles a lot of the day-to-day things here. It’s a typical village setting where the work never really stops. We’re just a group of farmers who decided to pull our resources together to make things a little easier for everyone in the Jajwan area. The office is just a room with some old desks and a lot of registers filled with names and numbers. We don't have any fancy marketing people or anything like that. We just know about farming because it’s what we’ve done since we were kids. In the mornings, there’s usually a lot of people stopping by to check on seed availability or to talk about the weather. The Jajwan (1) area is good for farming, but it takes a lot of effort to keep things going year after year. We spend a lot of time worrying about the rains and the market rates, just like any other farmer around here. It’s not a glamorous job, and we often end the day with dirt on our clothes. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We’re just trying to run a simple company that helps the local folks get their produce sorted. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and we’re always learning something new about how to manage things, but we just keep going. That is how it is.
